FOUND: Missing Iowa man last seen boarding bus to Minneapolis on Oct. 1

- Update (Tuesday, Oct. 16): Alonzo Higgins has been located safe in Los Angeles. 

Police in Mason City, Iowa are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 27-year-old man who was last seen boarding a bus to Minneapolis. 

Alonzo Higgins of Mason City is believed to have boarded a bus to Minneapolis on Oct. 1, according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. He was due to return home last Friday, but did not arrive. 
Higgins, who has autism, may be staying in a homeless shelter and may have participated in some type of church seminar. 

Authorities are concerned for his welfare. 

Higgins is described as 5’11” tall and weighs 170 pounds. 

Anyone with information on Higgins’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Mason City Police Department at 641-421-3636.
