Missing Grand Rapids woman last believed to be in Babbitt area

- Authorities believe a missing woman from Grand Rapids, Minn. may have been in the area of Babbitt, Minn.

Tawhna Jolee Pringle, 30, was last seen on Jan. 6 in Floodwood, Minn. She has not contacted anyone since then, which is out of character for her. With new information, investigators believe Pringle was in the Babbitt area on Jan. 11.

She was driving a silver 1999 Ford F150 extended cab with Minnesota license plate 698XHU.

Pringle is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and about 135 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes.

Authorities are asking people in the area to check their properties or trails for her vehicle or signs of a person searching for shelter.
