FOUND: 23-year-old UW-Stout student found safe

UPDATE: Authorities have located Devon Jenkins-Joshua Thursday afternoon and they say he is safe. According to UW-Stout Police, a Minnesota law enforcement agency helped locate him. They are working to reunite him with his family. 

A 23-year-old student is missing from UW-Stout according to the University’s police department.

Devon Jenkins-Joshua, a freshman from the Milwaukee area, has not been seen or heard from since the morning of Dec. 18.

Just after midnight Dec. 19, officers conducted a welfare check on Jenkins-Joshua at his room in McCalmont Hall. He was not in the room and officers did not locate his vehicle on campus.

Jenkins-Joshua has also been absent from class and has not contacted family. Most of his personal belongings were left behind and his cell phone is inactive.

There is no suspicion of foul play at this point.
