Minnesota State Fair breaks attendance record
FALCOLN HEIGHTS, Minn. (KMSP) - The 2016 Great Minnesota Get-together is going into the record books as the most attended State Fair in the event's history.
Fair officials announced on Twitter that 1,943,719 people attended the 12-day event.
This year, the fair also broke daily attendance records on Friday, Aug. 26 and Saturday, Sept. 3 with 141,023 people and 260,374 people, respectively.
