- A seven-year-old Eden Prairie, Minn. girl once again showed her appreciation for her local police officers by presenting the Eden Prairie Police Department with a donation that will go towards helping the department’s K-9s.

Last fall, Alyssa Hodo stopped by the police department to deliver handmade Survival Kits for Police. The kits included Lifesavers to remind the officers of the many times they’d been one and gum to “help everyone stick together.”

Each survival kit included a note from Hodo that read, “My name is Alyssa. I have autism. I don’t have a lot of friends. I want to be your friend. You are very brave. I made you gifts. Your buddy, Alyssa.”

Hodo delivered her latest gift to the EPPD on Wednesday. According to police, she raised the money for the K-9 unit by selling dog biscuits she baked herself.
