Minneapolis FBI warns people about e-mail scam

The FBI’s Minneapolis office has warned people to be cautious when opening e-mails.

They encourage citizens to be on the lookout for fake e-mails.  The e-mails tell the victim that they are possible cyber-crime victims and urge them to contact them about the case.

Victims of the scam should not contact the e-mail sender, the FBI Minneapolis office said. Instead, victims should report the sender to the FBI crime division
