(FOX 9) - The largest school districts in the Twin Cities metro will remain closed Thursday due to extreme cold temperatures and wind chills.
Minneapolis Public Schools, St. Paul Public Schools and Anoka-Hennepin Schools will remain closed Thursday. Osseo Area Schools and District 196, which covers Rosemount, Eagan and Apple VAlley are also closed.
Most after-school activities and programs are also canceled, although Anoka-Hennepin says high school activities may resume after 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
All five districts have been closed every day so far this week due to the snow and cold.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Minneapolis Public Schools says class will be held as scheduled on Friday.
