Man struck by car, seriously injured on Hennepin Avenue downtown

(FOX 9) - A man was seriously injured Saturday night after he was struck by a car on Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis.

According to police, at 11:30 p.m., officers responded to an injury crash on Hennepin Avenue between 4th and 5th streets where a 28-year-old man was hit by a car. He was transported to the hospital.

The driver, an adult male, is cooperating with police.

Authorities are still investigating the crash.
