ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - A man is in serious condition after a hit-and-run in St. Paul, according to St. Paul police.
Tom Corbett, 48, of St. Paul remains in the intensive care unit at United Hospital. He is receiving treatment for a fractured pelvis, eight broken ribs and a punctured lung.
At 7:15 p.m. on Monday, an Uber driver found Corbett lying in a snowbank near a home on the 400 block of Michigan Street.
When police arrived and asked Corbett what happened, he said he thought he fell. After finding tire tracks and debris and seeing the severity of Corbett's injuries, police determined a vehicle had hit him.
