Man found dead in Brooklyn Park apartment, roommate arrested
BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (KMSP) - Police arrested a 42-year-old man after his roommate was found murdered in their apartment in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota Tuesday morning.
Officers found the victim at 10:15 a.m. while conducting a welfare check at the apartment on the 500 block of 73rd Avenue. He was already deceased and had obvious signs of trauma, according to a news release.
The victim's roommate, James Thompson, was arrested for homicide and is currently being held in the Brooklyn Park Jail.
Police are not seeking any additional suspects at this time.
