A Lakeville middle school principal is on paid administrative leave after allegations he accessed a computer without permission, according to Lakeville Area Public Schools Superintendent Michael Baumann.

In an email to school district parents Friday, Baumann announced Century Middle School Principal Chris Endicott had been put on leave and was under investigation by the Apple Valley Police Department.

Wednesday, Baumann said Apple Valley police are investigating a complaint that Endicott accessed a computer without the owner's permission. Baumann assured the incident under investigation has nothing to do with students.

In the meantime, the middle school's dean, Jason Bakke, is serving as the interim principal.

At this time, Endicott has not been arrested or charged.
