Lake City auctioning off old fire truck
LAKE CITY, Minn. (KMSP) - Ever want a fire truck? A former tanker could be yours if you have a few thousand dollars lying around.
Lake City is auctioning off a 1989 Ford L8000 tanker online, with a starting bid of $13,000. According to the listing on GovDeals, it's a "very clean, great running truck." It was taken out of service in the fall of 2015. The tanker has 16,101 miles on it.
As of 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, there was one bid on the old tanker.
The tanker holds up to 1650 gallons.
The auction is open until 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
