Judge dismisses football players' lawsuit against University of Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit accusing the University of Minnesota of discriminating against former football players.
In 2016, 10 students were investigated for sexual assault allegations. No criminal charges were filed in the case.
Nine of the former players argued they were subject to race and extreme gender bias in the case.
Tuesday, a judge ruled the players' claims against the school were insufficient.
