FBI serves subpoena on trucking school after Fox 9 Investigation

Agents with the FBI on Tuesday served a subpoena on a South St. Paul truck driving school, after a Fox 9 Investigation revealed a terror suspect was training to get is Class A Commercial Drivers License.

The student, Amir Meshal, was kicked out of a Bloomington mosque last June for radicalizing young people who federal prosecutors say would later attempt to travel to Syria to fight for the terror group ISIS. Meshal is also on the "No Fly List," and last December the Department of Homeland Security said Meshal has the "operational capacity" to carry out a terror attack in the United States.

For the last few weeks, Meshal has been training to get his Class A Commercial Drivers License at Interstate Truck Driving School in South St. Paul. Meshal already has his Class A learners permit, and has completed 80 of 160 hours of classroom instruction. The school says it was unaware of Meshal's background until the Fox 9 Investigators brought it to their attention.
