Investigators: Drunk driver pleads guilty in fatal crash
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - The driver of a car that hit and killed a young father on a motorcycle pleaded guilty to criminal vehicular homicide.
Hannah Weyh had twice the legal limit of alcohol in her when she ran into Brandon Pearson in northeast Minneapolis on Nov. 8, 2015.
The 31-year old motorcycle driver never regained consciousness after the crash and died a short time later at the hospital.
Pearson was a single father of a 5-year-old girl. He was on his way to speak at an addiction recovery meeting at the time of the crash.
Weyh will be sentenced in August.
