A Minnesota company sent a special gift to the family of the young boy who was killed in a snowmobile crash.

Alan Geisenkoetter, 8, was setting up an ice house with his family on Chisago Lake in January when he was hit and killed by a snowmobile driver. The driver was charged with criminal vehicular homicide and driving under the influence.

The Forest Lake-based company Ice Castle gave Alan’s family a new ice house, hoping “Alan’s Castle” will keep his memory alive.
