Assault victim confronted men dumping trash at Holiday

St. Paul police are asking the public to help identify a suspect caught on surveillance in a brutal assault at a Holiday gas station on May 16.

Around 4:30 p.m., a customer at the Holiday at 281 N. Snelling Avenue was walking through the parking lot and saw two men dumping trash from their vehicles on the ground. The customer told police he said, “Really guys?” before being attacked and knocked unconscious. Police found him lying on the ground, unresponsive.
