A gusty storm blew through the Twin Cities metro Monday night, taking down tree branches and power lines.

The Lake Minnetonka area saw winds possibly up to 50 to 60 miles per hour. Emergency crews worked to clear the roads, specifically County Road 15, of trees and branches that blocked lanes of traffic. The wind also damaged some docks and boats along lake.

Along County Road 15, a tree fell in front of Long Lake fire engine that was headed to a storm damage report. Luckily it only hit the front bumper and no one was injured.

Around 8:30 p.m., Xcel Energy was reporting about 160 outages, affecting about 8,000 customers in the metro.
