Gas explosion takes out wall of Fridley apartment building

A natural gas explosion damaged an apartment building overnight in Fridley, Minn. The explosion happened around 3 a.m. Tuesday at the building on 59th Avenue NE and 2 1/2 Street.

5 to 7 people who live in the building are looking for a new place to stay after the initial explosion damaged a main wall in the boiler room. A few windows were also damaged in the explosion.

One person cut their feet on glass, but there were no serious injuries reported. Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the explosion and leak.
