COON RAPIDS, Minn. (KMSP) - The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says a missing 10-month-old child from Coon Rapids has been located and is safe.
A statewide alert was issued for Ja-Kari Brown on Jan. 19. He had been missing since Dec. 1 and was believed to be in the company of one of his biological mother or biological father.
He was voluntarily surrendered to Anoka County Child Protection by a relative of one of his parents, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
The whereabouts of the parents are still unknown and both still have active warrants for their arrest.
No additional information is being released due to data privacy concerns.
