FOUND: Missing Coon Rapids infant found safe

10-month-old Ja-Kari Brown has been located and is safe, according to the Minnesota Burea of Criminal Apprehension. 

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says a missing 10-month-old child from Coon Rapids has been located and is safe. 

A statewide alert was issued for Ja-Kari Brown on Jan. 19. He had been missing since Dec. 1 and was believed to be in the company of one of his biological mother or biological father. 

He was voluntarily surrendered to Anoka County Child Protection by a relative of one of his parents, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office. 

The whereabouts of the parents are still unknown and both still have active warrants for their arrest.
