First Avenue reopens to beats of GRRRL PRTY
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - The music is back at First Avenue, 16 days after the iconic Minneapolis music venue was shut down by a partial ceiling collapse. Minneapolis hip hop quintet GRRRL PRTY had the honor of re-christening the club.
“We're glad First Ave is feeling better cuz we love the First Ave!” the group posted on Facebook
The accident that sent 3 people to the hospital happened during a Theory of a Deadman concert on Aug. 17. The entire ceiling has since been replaced.
