Finishing up another warm month

- When thinking of March, most of us don’t go straight for words like warm.  While it’s the first month of Meteorological spring and considered by many to be a spring month, it’s not really known to be warm.  But this year has been different.  We have been teased with TWO 70° days plus a handful of 60° days so this March hasn’t exactly been cold.  In fact, it will likely go down as one of the warmest ever.  We currently sit in 7th place on the list of warm March’s.

While nothing can compare to the March of 2012 where 60 and 70 degree days were commonplace,  enough so that it blew out the old record warm March in 1910 almost 4 degrees, this one hasn’t been too shabby either.  With 50s and even a 60 in the forecast, we will compete for a top 5 spot on this list.  As you would imagine, we aren’t the only ones enjoying the mild weather as the rest of the Midwest and Plains have been equally as warm…
