A commercial building in Little Canada, Minn. went up in flames after an explosion late Thursday night. The fire happened at about 9:30 p.m. at a warehouse on the 2600 block of Park Street.

No one was inside the building and no injuries were reported. But the roof collapsed early on, creating a challenge for firefighters.

"It looks like a cement building but it's really steel with foam spray, so it collapsed quickly, creating a huge pile of debris,” said Little Canada Fire Chief Don Smiley. “So we were not able to enter the structure."

It took several hours for crews to get the flames under control. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
