$15,000 textbook theft at St. Cloud State caught on video

Three men were caught on surveillance video stealing $15,000 worth of textbooks from a private bookstore on the St. Cloud State University campus. Video shows the suspects entering the Husky Bookstore inside Centennial Hall, where they put various textbooks in their backpacks and walked out without paying.

Inventory logs and past surveillance video show the same suspects entered the store between Feb. 5 and Feb. 17. The suspects mainly stole textbooks on business law, chemistry, biochemistry and other science-related fields.

The suspects have not been identified or located, and anyone with information is asked to call St. Cloud police at 320-251-1200, or Tri-County Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301.
