Eden Prairie community remembers Mandy Matula in softball tournament

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (KMSP) - The community in Eden Prairie, Minnesota held a fast pitch softball tournament Saturday at Miller Park to honor Mandy Matula.

Mandy disappeared from her family’s home in Eden Prairie in May 2013. She was last seen getting into the car of her ex-boyfriend. Investigators believe he killed Mandy and buried her body in a shallow grave near St. Cloud. 

During the tournament, participants took time to remember Matula, who also played softball in Eden Prairie.
