Eagles and Patriots mascot race each other on zipline

The Super Bowl kicks off on Sunday, but competition was in the air in Minneapolis Saturday afternoon.

The mascots of the two teams Pat the Patriot and Swoop the Eagle flew across The Bold North Zipline, suspended 100 feet above the ice cold Mississippi river.

The NFC and AFC mascots flew 750 feet across the river and not that it's a prediction for Sunday's big game, but the Swoop the Eagle won the race. Then again, he's a bird and has a little more practice flying.

The real contest starts Sunday night when the teams take the field.
