Downtown Minneapolis skyway hours extended for Super Bowl week

The skyways in downtown Minneapolis will have extended hours during the 10 days leading up to Super Bowl LII.

Key skyway corridors will be open from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily from Friday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Feb. 4. Not all skyways will have extended hours, only distinct routes that go to the outer edges of downtown. The routes will extend to U.S. Bank Stadium to the east, the Minneapolis Convention Center to the south, Target Field to teh west and 3rd Street to the north. The routes will intersect at the IDS Center Crystal Court on 8th Street and Nicollet Mall.

Crew 52 volunteers will also be deployed within the skyway system until 10 p.m. each day helping visitors find their way.

The skyway system is not the only place with extended hours for the Super Bowl. The Mall of America is also extending its hours for the big game.
