Some recent furry, four-legged arrivals to the United States reunited for a day of play.

On Saturday, a group of dogs that were rescued from South Korea where they were destined to be slaughtered for their meat, met up at a dog park at Fish Lake Regional Park in Maple Grove.

The group, Save Korean Dogs, worked to rescue the dogs, which started arriving in the metro last year.

Organizers say the group has rescued 124 dogs from the dog meat trade.
