Dalvin Cook doesn't know what the preseason holds, but says he'll be ready for week one

The Minnesota Vikings coaching staff has been complimentary of running back Dalvin Cook's rehabilitation process since his torn ACL last season.

Aug. 11, the Vikings will kickoff the preseason against the Denver Broncos, but Cook says he doesn't know what his role will be in those first few games.

Cook hasn't played since week four of last season,  but he's been an active participant in training and team drills this training camp.

Cook says he hasn't been told what the game plan is just yet, but said he wants to play and hopes to be on the field.

The coaching staff will be monitoring his workload as the season goes on.
