One of the largest and fastest growing code schools is opening a campus in Minneapolis this March, the Iron Yard announced Tuesday.

“Specifically, Minneapolis’ reputation as a thriving tech hub is growing quickly, with nearly 400 job openings for entry-level software engineers coming online every 90 days,” the Iron Yard stated. “With that in mind, we’re pretty excited to announce today that we’re opening our newest location in Minneapolis.”

The Iron Yard, founded in 2012, offers in-person full-time and part-time programs in back-end engineering, front-end engineering, mobile engineering, data science and design. It currently has 15 campuses in the U.S. and one in the UK.

In August of 2015, Forbes published an article publicizing Minnesota as the fastest-growing state for tech jobs:

“Why is Minnesota No. 1? Headquarters for big corporations like UnitedHealth Group UNH +1.98%, General Mills, 3M, U.S. Bankcorp, and Target, it’s also known as ‘Medical Alley,’ because it’s home to device companies like Medtronic, St. Jude Medical and Boston Scientific. All of those firms hire armies of tech workers,” Forbes wrote.

The Iron Yard’s first course in Minneapolis is scheduled for March 28. Location has not yet been specified.
