Charges expected in shooting of 5 protesters near MPD 4th Precinct

- Charges are expected to be filed Monday against 4 suspects in the shooting of 5 people who were protesting near the Minneapolis Police Department’s 4th Precinct a week ago.

Lance Scarsella, 23, admitted to an old high school friend that he shot the protesters Monday night in Minneapolis. That friend -- now a Mankato police officer -- told Minneapolis police, which led to a raid of Scarsella's Bloomington, Minn. home Tuesday morning. Officers recovered several guns, ammunition and tactical gear from the home.

A judge granted an extension for the 4 suspects in the shooting, but all will be charged by Monday afternoon.
