Caribou Coffee to offer alcoholic beverages at U.S. Bank Stadium

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KMSP) - No surprise here, Minnesota-based Caribou Coffee has been named the “Official Coffee of the Minnesota Vikings.”

The Vikings and Caribou Coffee are teaming up to bring guests at U.S. Bank Stadium a coffee bar.

Caribou will open their first alcoholic coffee bar on the main concourse at U.S. Bank Stadium. The coffee bar will be open in time for Sunday’s game against the Packers.

“We’re honored to launch our first alcoholic bar inside the state-of-the-art stadium and be the official coffee of the Minnesota Vikings,” said Michele Vig, Chief Marketing Officer of Caribou Coffee. “We’ve been long supporters – and partners – of the Minnesota Vikings and we’re excited that fans will get the chance to enjoy two of their favorite things on Sundays – Vikings football and Caribou coffee.”

What’s on the menu? Aside from nonalcoholic Caribou Coffee drinks, the bar will have these specialty alcoholic drinks:

Spiked Mint Condition – Peppermint schnapps and mocha

White Rushin’ – Cold press, Kahlua and vodka

Irish Coffee – Hot or cold coffee and Irish whiskey

All specialty and alcoholic drinks will have purple whip cream and a yellow and purple brownie bite.

Caribou also says it will partner with the Vikings for various community initiatives throughout the year.
