Candlelight vigil for fallen officers in Forest Lake

FOREST LAKE, Minn. (KMSP) - Community members in Forest Lake held a vigil for fallen police officers throughout the country Saturday evening on the Broadway Bridge overlooking I-35.

People lined up along the side of the bridge holding candles and had a balloon release to show support for police officers.

According to the Facebook event page, people plan to hold the vigil Sunday night as well. 

This vigil comes as part of a series of vigils for fallen officers that have been held throughout the metro area.
