Can you see it? Eden Prairie issues reminder to keep fire hydrants visible

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (KMSP) - City staff in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, took to Facebook to remind residents that snow isn't the only thing that can hide our local fire hydrants.

"If your nearest hydrant resembles these photos, please rearrange your landscaping so that the hydrant can be easily seen and accessed from the street," they wrote.

"Fire spreads quickly. If there is a fire in your home, you want to ensure firefighters have immediate access to hydrants. You may not like the sight of the hydrant, but if you can't see them, neither can firefighters."
