(KMSP) - After federal safety officials recalled one million of the Galaxy Note 7 phones last month, Samsung is now telling people to stop selling the Galaxy Note 7, including the replacement devices, and to stop exchanges.
Samsung says they are “working with relevant regulatory bodies to investigate the recently reported cases involving the Galaxy Note7," according to a news release from the company.
Consumers with either an original Galaxy Note7 or replacement Galaxy Note7 device are advised to power down and stop using the device and to take advantage of the remedies available.
While there were several reports in September of phones overheating and starting on fire, there have also recently been reports of the replacements exploding.
