Twin Cities pizza chain Davanni's is celebrating its 40th anniversary, but it's facing a bit of a midlife crisis. In an effort to bring in millennials who confuse Davanni's with national chains, the company is getting a new design, a new store and a revamped beer menu that focuses on local, craft brews.
"We talked to millennial customers and non-customers and they said they want locally brewed beer," Stenson Silva told the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal. "Minneapolis-St. Paul also has such a strong brewery culture. Those things together pushed us to make the change."
