A black bear drew a crowd when it climbed up a tree outside the Radisson Hotel in downtown Duluth, Minnesota Wednesday morning.

The bear made several attempts to come down from the tree, but went back up after seeing the spectators, according to Duluth police.

The bear remained in the tree through the evening. Police taped off an area around the area to give the bear some space, and asked people to stay away from the bear to allow it to come down from the tree. Police say the bear will eventually move along.
