RECAP + REPLAY: Vice President Biden at Union Depot in St. Paul

Vice President Joe Biden spoke at the renovated Union Depot in St. Paul, Minn. on Thursday, praising the benefits of the Economic Recovery Act. Biden toured the lower level bus station that is now also home to Amtrak and the Green Line light rail.

The historic Union Depot was rebuilt with $35 million in federal stimulus dollars -- money the vice president says was well spent in rebuilding the country and creating jobs.

“We have created more jobs in this country because of projects like this since we came to office than every other industrial country in the world combined,” Biden said.

Biden gave credit to Ramsey County and city of St. Paul for creating the public-private partnerships to make the new Union Depot possible.
