Bicyclist assaulted on morning ride near Eden Valley, Minn.

The Stearns County sheriff's office needs your help to identify the suspect in an assault of a bicyclist Friday morning. The apparently random assault happened just after 9 a.m. in the area of County Road 9 and Meeker-Stearns Street, just east of Eden Valley, Minn.

The victim was out for a morning bike ride when he was attacked. During the scuffle, the suspect lost his hat and t-shift. The hat says "Northern Line Railway" and the t-shirt says "Una Mas."

The suspect left the scene in a noisy, green Subaru Outback. He should have visible scratches on his face. He may be from the area as he made reference to a farm that he worked at or lived on.
