Bartz brothers holding event to reveal this year's snow sculpture, raise money for Haiti

On Friday, lights will be on illuminating this year's handmade snow sculpture until midnight as the Bartz brothers reveal their latest creation. And this year, the brothers are using their snow sculpture to help others.

"For several years people have recommended that we raise money through our snow sculptures," the brothers said on Facebook. "We are excited to announce that we are partnering with a organization called One Day's Wages to provide clean water to people in Haiti".

They said given the sole raw asset of their work -- snow -- they thought it made sense to raise money to provide clean water for those in need. There will be a donation box at their snow sculpture starting Friday, or you can donate online here.

Austin, Trevor, and Connor Bartz are known for building huge snow sculptures in their Minnesota front yard. Since 2012, their creations have included a shark, turtle, walrus, and more.

Their address: 2777 16th Street NW, New Brighton, Minnesota.
