ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - Como Zoo’s newest member made his public debut on Thursday. Baby giraffe, “Prince” is 6’6” tall and weighs 160 pounds. Prince was born on Nov. 10 and is the seventh calf born to mom, Daisy. He’s the 20th giraffe born at Como Zoo in the last 22 years.
Gretchen and David Crary, supporters of Como Friends, were given the honor of giving the baby giraffe his name, “Prince.” The Crary's have been the top individual donors on 'Give to the Max Day' for the past three years.
