OLMSTED COUNTY, Minn. (KMSP) - Authorities in Olmsted County, Minnesota are investigating after officers found about 138 pounds of marijuana in a concealed spot on a rural road.
According to the sheriff's office, authorities recovered the marijuana on Monday, noting that it was packed in three totes and two large garbage bags. It was sealed in 112 separate packages with a total weight of 138 pounds.
Authorities estimate the value - due to its high quality - to be about $345,000.
Officials will not release any more information, as there are concerns for people’s safety due to the large amount that a dealer has lost.
The case is still under investigation.
