More heat is expected Sunday with widespread low to mid-90 degree temperatures likely appearing again in Minnesota along and south of I-94.

Fox 9 Meteorologist Cody Matz said Sunday will be another scorcher, but with slightly less humidity and some breezy afternoon winds, the heat may be a bit more bearable than Saturday.

The southerly winds could reach up to 35 mph in open areas.

It will be very warm in northern Minnesota as well, with temperatures likely topping out well into the 80s.

Cooler weather starts pouring into the state Monday with a much cooler and more active weather pattern likely for the workweek.
