AMBER ALERT CANCELED: Ramsey, Minn. toddler found safe

UPDATE (6:50 p.m.) Amber Alert CANCELED: The Child has been recovered, SAFE and the suspect is in custody. Found by the Minnesota State Patrol on 35W at Stinson Blvd. Thanks everyone for the help.

An AMBER Alert has been issued by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and the Anoka County sheriff's office for 15-month-old girl Khadijah Abdalaziz Sheikh of Ramsey, Minn., who was taken from a daycare center by her non-custodial mother on Oct. 21. The daycare center was unaware the mother no longer had custody of the child.

SUSPECT MOTHER
Yusra Abumayaleh (Birthdate: 05-23-1985)
Black hair, brown eyes -- no longer covers her hair as depicted in one of the attached photos. 5’ 4 tall, 217 lbs. Last seen wearing a long sleeved t-shirt with “Anoka Brawlers 2008-2009” printed on the front, black athletic pants, black sweatshirt tied around her waist and running shoes with her hair in a ponytail. Last known location was the Coon Rapids area, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 21.

MISSING CHILD
Khadijah Abdalaziz Sheikh (Birthdate: 06-29-2014)
Black hair, Brown eyes. Last seen wearing long sleeved white shirt, Purple fleece pants and a rainbow striped zip up sweatshirt. No known clothing description available.

SUSPECT VEHICLE
Last seen vehicle was a 2004 Honda Civic sedan, black in color, with Minnesota license plate 386 HUJ. But the Anoka County sheriff's office has new information that the mother may have changed her license plate to 338 TNL.

There may also be a red bumper sticker on the rear left corner of the back window of the vehicle. The sticker has white lettering on it, but it's unknown what specifically the sticker says.

BACKGROUND
According to the AMBER Alert, Yusra Abumayaleh recently lost custody of her daughter and had been acting in an irrational manner, threatening to commit suicide and/or cause harm to other people. Police believe this child and mother are in danger.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
Anyone with information or a possible sighting is asked to call the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office or Ramsey Police Department and speak to the on call detective at (763) 427-1212. If you encounter the mother or child, call 911immediately.
