93 animals rescued from Pine County home, available for adoption

The Animal Humane Society rescued 93 animals from a home in rural Pine County.

79 dogs, eight cats, and six guinea pigs arrived at the Golden Valley Animal Humane Society on Tuesday.

The owners of the Pine County home worked with investigators and told them they “couldn’t take care of their collection.”

The Animal Humane Society says, the animals have varying degrees of health and social issues due to a lack of consistent medical care, poor socialization, and uncontrolled breeding. A few of the pets have already found loving homes.

Some of the animals are available for adoption and others still need medical or behavioral treatment.

Anyone interested in adopting one of the animals can visit the Animal Humane Society’s website or to make a donation click here.
