ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - Two more lawsuits were filed Tuesday against the Children's Theatre Company and its former artistic director. Both alleged victims claim they were sexually abused by John Clark Donahue in the 1970s.
Several lawsuits have also been filed against Loring Pasta Bar owner Jason McLean, who was a former actor and staff member at the theater. McLean is accused of sexually abusing students in the 1980s.
One of the alleged victims who filed the first lawsuit back in December is expected to speak publicly for the first time Tuesday. The victim had previously been identified as Doe 84 in the lawsuits.
Attorney Jeff Anderson is encouraging other survivors of sexual abuse at Children's Theatre, and elsewhere in Minnesota, to come forward before the May 25, 2016 deadline.
