"He will be returning to the residence shortly and will return to a normal schedule tomorrow. He is grateful for the excellent level of care he received while a patient at Regions.”

Previous statement on collapse (Jan. 31)

"Earlier this evening, the governor was at an event in Woodbury that was very crowded and hot. As he was speaking, he began to feel increased pressure in his lower back. At that point, the governor fainted and was transported to Regions Hospital for further testing. He will remain there overnight for observation as a precaution. The governor is resting comfortably and joking with family, doctors, and staff.”
