Minneapolis (KMSP) - A firefighter was injured early Saturday morning at a house fire in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis Fire Department was called to a house fire in Minneapolis on the 3500 block of 3rd Avenue South around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday.
When the crew arrived, they found the front porch fully engulfed in flames. The fire and smoke reached to buildings around the home, causing damage.
The firefighter was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center where he was treated for second-degree burns and was later released Saturday morning.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still unknown and currently under investigation.
