2 Marine helicopters collide off Hawaiian island of Oahu

The U.S. Marine Corps has confirmed there is an active search and rescue operation for two CH-53E helicopters off the coast of Oahu, Hawaii. The helicopters were involved in a collision just before midnight. The choppers were carrying a total of 12 Marine crew members at the time of the incident.
