60 measles cases, outbreak spreads to fourth county

(KMSP) - The Minnesota Department of Health reported new measles cases on Tuesday, bringing the total to 60 cases in the measles outbreak.
The outbreak has now spread to LeSueur County, with two cases reported there. The three other counties impacted are Hennepin, Ramsey and Crow Wing.
All but three cases involve patients who were unvaccinated, with 50 cases affecting Somali Americans.
There are only three adult patients, with the rest being children.
In light of the outbreak, Allina Health created restrictions for children under the age of five not to visit hospitals and clinics.
